Black Cat, 2011, Classic Animation (2.41 min)
This animation film is based on a recorded interview with Moshe
Amoyal, who was born in Musrara and was an activist in the
‘Black Panthers’ movement. The film recounts the experiences
of Amoyal during his formative years, the hard life conditions
in the neighborhood, playing children’s games in a no man’s
land, up until his first arrest.

The film is part of Musrara Collection 2011. It was first shown
in the exhibition: “Childhood in a No Man’s Land” in the Social
Gallery of the Naggar school. The film won first place in the
competition for development of a script for a feature film in
the Jerusalem International Film Festival in 2012.
