My name is woroud, and I was born unable to hear. When I was little, we used to live in a <\/strong>small town north-east of Jerusalem called Qattanah. I had a lot of fun playing with my <\/strong>cousins most of whom lived close to us, I used to communicate with them using hand <\/strong>gestures and the little bit of sign language I knew back then<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Our life changed drastically when we had to mov<\/strong>\u00a0Shuafat Camp to keep our blue\u00a0<\/strong>identification card ( the IDs that would allow us to live and move in and out of Jerusalem<\/strong>),\u00a0<\/strong>living conditions were good then, people were able to live for a lot cheaper than it is now.
