"השבט שלי" עומד במרכזו של פרויקט הגמר . באמצעות סדרה של צילומי פורטרט ישירים אני מבקשת לבחון מחדש את מושג המשפחה בכלל ואת המשפחה שלי בפרט.
המלה משפחה היא מאותן מילים המעוררות בכולנו רצף בלתי נשלט של אסוציאציות, שחלקן בנאליות וקלישאתיות אך עדיין בעלות עוצמה ומשמעות.
בפרויקט שלי אני בוחנת את "השבט שלי", את המשפחה החדשה שלי, את המציאויות המרכיבות את חיי ובדרך מנסה לענות על השאלות של משמעות ומהות המשפחה. האם אני יכולה להרכיב את המשפחה שלי? מה קובע מי בתוכה ומי לא? מה יש מעבר לגבולות של הגנטיקה?

My Tribe, is the personal journey within the final project. Through a series of portrait photographs I seek to re-examine the Family cell, with my own family in particular.
The word “Family” is amongst the words evoking a series of uncontrollable associations in all of us, some of which are cliche and banal, albeit it’s inherent deep and meaningful associations.
In my project, I will examine “My Tribe”, my assembled family, the different realities conjoined into my life. Along with it, I try to question and answer the meaning and the essence that is laid within the modern family cell. Can I assemble and choose my own family? who will mandate and decide who is in and who is not? what lies beyond the borders of genetics?
