I witnessed war, I ran over rubble of houses, dead bodies and unexploded bombs. Being a Palestinian and living inside the Israeli community, keeps my life, my mind and my feelings divided. Flashbacks to the hard moments of war and the smell of gunpowder and death come back to me in the oddest moments.
Media, is the huge player in the war game, it always show us what it want us only to see, control our vision with a square of lightening pictures, watching Israeli and Palestinian media during war, gets lost between facts.
The installation is a demolition environment, visual media flashbacks will be activated by the audience while walking over (mine) sensors installed between the rubble.
This installation brings together real space and digital time illustrating the real experience of war flash backs while simulating media outbreaks and visual manipulation.
