For over a decade, Galssar photographs and collects materials for a project he named: “Dying Farms”. The images are from various areas in Israel. Dan was a flower grower and felt it was his duty to document the end of the classic familial agriculture, where every family independently made a living from working in a farm. The project expresses the feeling of exile, a documentation of a respectable agricultural past being wiped by real estate manipulators. The work Greenhouse-City was photographed in the village Orot in the south of Israel, where rural areas are taken over by the urban Kiryat Malachi.
